K. Brent JonesAssociate
Brent Jones grew up in Chesterfield County, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2011 with B.A. in History. Mr. Jones earned his J.D. from Appalachian School of Law in 2015.
During law school, Mr. Jones completed a summer externship by clerking for Judge Stephen J. Buis in the Richmond Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Mr. Jones was also a research assistant for Professor Kendall Isaac focusing his research on labor and employment law matters. Additionally, Mr. Jones was member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society and the Appalachian School of Law Jug Band where he served as President during his final year.
Mr. Jones focuses his practice on litigation and workers’ compensation. Before joining the firm in June of 2019, Mr. Jones was an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Gordon, Dodson, Gordon & Rowlett, where he focused on civil litigation, workers’ compensation, business law and creditor’s rights. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and is a member of the Virginia State Bar and Chesterfield County Bar Association.
Outside of the office, Mr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and cheering on his beloved Virginia Tech Hokies in Football.
