Emily M. Albis

Ms. Albis was raised in Virginia Beach, VA.  She attended George Mason University as a student of the Honors College and graduated in 2015 with a B.S. degree in Accounting and minor in Theater.  Ms. Albis earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2019 and is licensed to practice law in Virginia.  During her time at the University of Richmond School of Law, Ms. Albis competed in and won the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board’s intraschool competition, and subsequently became a member of the Board.  Ms. Albis was also awarded the CALI Award, given to the student with the highest grade in a particular class, for both her Workers’ Compensation and Employment Discrimination classes.  Throughout college and law school, Ms. Albis worked for a small firm in Virginia Beach and assisted on Workers’ Compensation, Employment Discrimination, Civil Litigation, Corporate, and Immigration matters.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Albis joined the firm in October of 2020, where her areas of practice include insurance defense, litigation, workers’ compensation, and general liability cases.  Ms. Albis is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.  Ms. Albis is admitted to practice before the Virginia Supreme Court and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
